WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!
Ferdinand’s Familia advocates personal responsibility when adopting an animal. Try and refrain from spontaneous adoptions. Animals should not be given as presents or birthday gifts. Adoption is for life!, THEIR LIFE! Please take your time when bringing a new family member into your home!

Kittens! Kittens! Kittens!
San Diego County is in crisis! The survival rate of an adoptable cat or kitten is 30% in San Diego’s Shelters. Overpopulation of our feline friends is hitting maximum capacity.
Ferdinand’s Familia has rescued over 20 kittens and cats this
kitten season-and it isn’t over yet. The South Shelter is 84% over capacity with cats and kittens; the shelter depends on rescues like Ferdiand’s Familia to help with this crisis.
Ferdinand’s Familia has quite a few bonded pairs available, both cats and kittens-there is a discount on the adoption fee when you adopt two cats or kittens. Please open your heart and home to cats and kittens! Remember!, Ferdinand’s Familia operates an integrated program exposing dogs to cats to rabbits to dogs! And all cats and/or kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and if old enough have had their rabies vaccination.
If you cannot permanently open up your home to a fuzzy friend we are also currently looking for reliable fosters to help save the lives of our feline animal relations. If you can help out in any way, including food or monetary donations, please contact janice@ferdinandsfamilia.org or 619.475.8227.
